HealthSource RI, Rhode Island’s health benefits exchange, is a new one-stop marketplace where Rhode Islanders and Rhode Island small employers can find and compare health insurance plans, and purchase the coverage that best fits their needs.

HealthSource RI will enable qualifying individuals and families to receive tax credits to help pay for insurance, and will connect Rhode Islanders who qualify to low-cost or no-cost insurance options.

Very bad experience. The first time ever applying for health insurance, and it turns into a almost 3 month saga. Mystery people on my account. I don’t know why or who they are. How they got on my account. I still don’t have insurance cards, and blue cross has no record of me. This is a very very bad example. Why is this not being addressed by proper authorities.

If I could give a negative rating I would!

This has to be the most unprofessional business I have ever had the misery of dealin with. I wait for hours to get a representative and when I finally do they ask you for your number in case you get disconnected. After waiting hours they put you on hold and 4 out of 5 times the phone gets disconnected and they never call back. I have had the same issue over and over and every time I call back they tell me the previous representative didn’t do something correctly. They canceled my insurance for no reason and no one can explain why. I’ve been going back and forth with them for over 2 months now and nothing has been resolved. They are affecting my health and my time. Something has to be done about this. I have never experienced such lack of professionalism in my life. No one there knows how to do their job properly!

Well, I was almost positive that I could give lower than a 1-star review, but there you have it. Does anyone even work here? And, if yes, why do they still work there? Do you run the DMV as well?

This place is a joke every month and year there's an issue. They need professional and responsible people there. The information giving is never accurate and no one is on the same page place is a joke.

I've been on the phone holding waiting to speak with someone for hours, day after day. I've tried different times of day and still wait hours!!! Can't get to anyone to find out why we are being way overcharged!!!!
