My primary membership is with a different Healthtrax. I go to the Bristol Healthtrax on occasion because of its proximity. I have to say, in comparison to other Healthtrax locations, that this location is not as well kept. I'm not sure what it is but the dim lighting and slightly grungy old floors and furniture make it pale in comparison to the other Healthtrax locations. This might sound trivial but for the cost of membership I think this is relevant to consider. The hot tub was lukewarm last time and there were two teenagers that deliberately broke a sink in the locker room. I appreciated that the manager addressed this matter directly and forced them to leave the premises. On the plus side the pool is usually a nice experience and not crowded when I need to swim laps. I can't speak to all parts of the gym as I haven't tried them all out. Despite some of the negative qualities of this specific Healthtrax location I would still continue to use it and would not deter anyone from going.

I have to disagree with the review by @punisher5616. The trainers are amazing. They are ALL well trained, educated, and genuinely care about their clients well being. I personally have worked with the so called "dumpy, frumpy trainer in glasses" (who is far from such) and she has literally been my life saver. She's been able to work around my physical and emotional issues, and push me to always do better. She knows what she's doing with my body, and I've lost 90lbs working with her! My strength has improved 10 fold from not being able to get off my own couch! Yes, the facilities look a little dated, but it has everything you need. I wouldn't dream of being at any other gym :-)

Family oriented, child care, plenty of open swim and court time. Nice pool, locker rooms are big .. recommended!
