Amazing amazing amazing! Everything about this place is extraordinary. The ambiance was wonderful, the seating situation is perfect, the food is AMAZING and the staff is phenomenal. We got two small plates (Carrots/chickpeas) and the Cornbread. GET THE CORNBREAD Our medium plate was the Celery Root Pasta... Which sounds weird I know but it was AMAZING and all of their pasta is made in house Then we had the scallops which also were SO GOOD But the most amazing plate that we had was the Belgian Waffle Dessert. When I say it is probably one of the best dishes I have ever tasted... I am not exaggerating. I would go back there simply for that Waffle. All in all, it is everything that these reviews crack it up to be and more. Not to mention it's BYOB which is a great addition. I will definitely be going back there soon!

Absolutely amazing, we ordered a number of small, medium, and large plates and everything was superb. Normally there's something you wish you subbed out, not here it was all so good. Our waitress was great, she helped guide us on how many of each to order and it was perfect. If you haven't yet, you really need to check this place out, quite possibly my new favorite BYOB in South Jersey!

I'll have to say, my FIRST experience at Hearthside was off to a great start, until my friend and I were asked to leave... I received a gift card for Hearthside around the holidays, and was really excited about the moment I would get to experience this talked about BYOB. As I stated, everything was off to a great start until... Before I continue, let me just say...Drew, YOU ROCK!!! Yes, asked to leave. Why? Because there was a party waiting to be seated. Grant it, I understand when you make a reservation you want to be seated at that time. Therefore, this has nothing to do with the customers waiting. But what management at any restaurant must understand, is that no matter what time patrons make reservations, it's not guaranteed their table will be ready. Especially when parties are enjoying the ambience and time with their loved one(s). It had not even been 5 minutes since I took my last sip of wine, when my friend mentioned she was getting stares from the kitchen. Which makes me believe there was conversation about how to get us out. Furthermore, a waiter (who was not ours) came and grabbed the check that was not ready to be rendered. Nor was there any indication it was ready. It wasn't ready because our focus was not to rush and pay the tab, but to enjoy our time together. Upon our rushed exit, my friend mentioned our unfortunate experience to the host, when retrieving her coat, but it was brushed off as if it didn't matter. It was almost like, we got you to leave, so bye! It's unfortunate that for the FIRST experience this is how we were treated. I wonder if this is common practice? If so, it's a horrible way to treat patrons (old or new). Hearthside mentions..."they want to be known for great food, ambience and service, but also for being part of the Collingswood community." I'll have to say, besides Drew...My friend and I DID NOT feel great service or community within those last 5 minutes, which were critical to our experience.

Had dinner there last night for the first time. Great experience. Loved the decor; comfortable and modern. Service was good; maybe mildly snobbish, but attentive. Menu had some great options that will make me want to come back and try more items. The selections we had were terrific. Great flavor and sometimes a little surprising. Desserts were very good; although they need a good chocolate choice in addition to gelato. Definitely headed back here!! Oh, and the price seemed very reasonable for all the food we had and I love that it is BYO.
