Great place for family camping. Lots to do in Lake George. We have camped here several times and love it. We have only stayed at the upper campsites due to less crowded. Clean sites, bathrooms and showers. Can't Waite till May when the campsite opens.

Campground is in terrible condition. The firepits are falling apart. Bathrooms are a mess. A commercial diving company was using the 'closed' beach. Several of the sites were washed out and not in repair. A few of the sites are decent. No sites that I found had electrical or water hookups, which was disappointing.

I go there for ice fishing only. Kind of hilly gling down but there is plenty of parking.

This is not a place to camp. Yes the scenery is beautiful but the people are just rude. We were booked for two nights and left after one. I will NOT be back. First, it really isn't camper trailer friendly. The firepits are falling apart bad. The bathrooms are full of spiders and not clean. Our campsite had trash in it. The ranger is super rude and demands you back to your camper to sleep if you are out of it at 10pm which is when you are suppose to be quiet. But their quiet time is for people to go to sleep instead. A few of us went to dinner and a couple stayed back at the camper. We didn't leave cars there since we went into town and the ranger came by and started thumping on our camper while my sister and her friend were there trying to sleep and shining a light in the window.  First thing in the morning we looked for a different camp site. If you are to stay you have been warned. I would suggest a 12 min drive over to king Phillips campground. It is super Nice, clean, and friendly! More expensive but way worth the money.

Quant little campground, has restrooms & etc. Clean grounds. Can use tent or RV.
