Campground is nice. Make sure when you reserve you are 'locked in' so your reservation does not change. We reserved riverside full hook up ended up with only water and electric. We were moved to a full hook up site but not riverside. I was told we must have been switched. A comment was made about us having not camped here before when in fact we were here earlier this year. I'm guessing returning guests get preferential treatment but couldn't price it by us. 
Most all of the employees are vet nice, one in the office needs to have some customer service training or she needs to find a different job. 
Will probably camp here again because it's kid friendly however we will make sure we are 'locked in'!!!

Great campground. The staff is wonderful, and super friendly. We had a spot right behind the beach.  Would have given 5 stars, but not very disability friendly. If you're disabled, bring your own camper suited to your needs. The bathroom with the showers is not handicapped accessible. I'm disabled and had a really hard time using the facilities. Would still recommend though.

My husband and I just spent the weekend at LG Riverview Campground and loved it. The grounds were clean. The view was beautiful . We loved sitting out by the fire and gazing oily at the river. We took our kayaks out for a spin. The neighbors were kind and respectful to the 10pm quiet time. It was an enjoyable experience and we'd recommend this campsite to everyone. We'll be back nexr year for sure :)

Anyone who gave this a 4/5 star review must have never had to deal with the owner.  Kim E's review from a month ago, EXACT experience i had with the owner, so it must be common practice.  I had called about a special on the website in March, rates were 2016 at the time so assumed website not updated yet.  Asked if they were still going to run the special for 2017.   I was told yes, and they would honor the price listed on website.  Three months later, AT CHECK IN,  I was told they were not going to honor it.  Called the owner.  Wondering why I was not informed of this BEFORE I was there and checking in.  Could not get a word in.  She was rude, talking over me, didn't want to hear anything I had to say.  Very unprofessional.  If I was a business owner and one of my employees told someone something would be honored, I would  honor it, that's what a decent person would do.  And, i would take the special off the website ASAP.  Special is STILL on the website, so be aware.  In small print below it, it says 2015!!!!!

Beautiful view of schroon river right off our site. We had a great time fishing and tubing down the river. The sites are not very private, but it was a trade-off for being able to jump in a tube right off our site and float down the river. It looped around the campground and you could get off at the boat launch with just a short walk back to our site. The boys fished like crazy and got a lot of small catches! I couldn't tell you what kind of fish they were. There was also a very nice beach that we enjoyed. Big enough that it never felt over crowded. When we got tired of the beach, we tried out the inground pool. Also for convenience, there was a price chopper and a little plaza right across the street. If you're looking for private, this is probably not the place for you. For us, a family of four, it was perfect. The boys always had something to do. We didn't spend too much time at our site. We were there for four nights, and had something to do within the campground every day.
