I love this place. I don't live near there, but I have a monthly appointment nearby, and I try to always arrange the time of my appointment so I can go to the Heirloom Bakery Cafe! The food is delicious, the people are wonderful, and it's a lovely location. What more can you ask? In fact, I ask them frequently to take a full-size salad and give me half of it to eat there and the other half to take home and they package everything up very nicely with no complaining or attitude. Just one of my favorite places!

The cafe is quaint with a warm environment. The staff is helpful and friendly. I orderd the green goddess omelette which was a generous portion. The ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly, with the spinach having a slight crunch but not raw. The flavor was well balanced.

My five cents. Early Sunday morning i was in old town Pasadena exploring the many hidden places that this city has. Any incredible urge I got for a latte and coffee cake. I googled The Best coffee cake in Pasadena, immediately Heirloom and bakery came-up as the most desirable for an intense breakfast and pastries. I was so happy coming here, the customer service is outstanding, food need I to say; definitely amazing ! In my perspective one the best places to have a beautiful breakfast.

You will always eat well here. Sandwiches, salads, sides, desserts, pastries... all well prepared and flavorful. The meatloaf sandwich, seasonal roasted chicken salad, savory scone, key lime pie are favorites, and once they had a whole summer cake which we bought for a birthday that was memorable - hitting all the right notes, with just the right crumb, and delicious without being rich or heavy.

Breakfast burritos are awesome!! I usually go with the break of day w/sausage, and I always ask to get the hash browns well done (game changer), in order to get that extra crunch.. The service is generally pretty quick but the seating selection is slim.. The Heirloom Bakery & Cafe fresh, nothing ever tastes frozen! and I always make sure to wash it down with one of their delicious coffees.
