Vintage, modern and heirloom furnishings would be more accurate for this great shopping resource. Looking to furnish an apartment for a 24 year old, I was not in the market for antiques, yet found incredible furnishings. A vintage dresser, two restorations hardware upholstered chairs as well as a West Elm chair all for a fraction of the cost. The owner has extremely high standards for all upholstery pieces and they seemed new. A set of beautiful dining room chairs for only $50.00 each, quality classic chairs appropriate for country, modern or vintage look. No wading through "junk" looking for a rare gem, this store is highly curated and worth a visit.

I am a regular customer at Heirloom Furnishings and have been for at least five years, and four things keep me coming back -- usually about every couple of weeks -- 1) courteous, professional treatment (most often as a buyer, but also as a seller, from time to time); 2) amazingly varied inventory; 3) reasonable prices; and 4) generous discounts scaled according to the amount of time the pieces have been for sale in the store. I bought all my dining room furniture at Heirloom Furnishings -- an amazing mid-19th-century American marble-topped buffet, a beautiful dining room table (with six chairs and two leaves); and two display cases -- plus other miscellaneous items enjoyed throughout my home.

Heirloom Furnishings complaint: Beware, sellers. I have dealt with Heirloom Furnishings, LLC for over a year now and find they are sorely lacking in communication, responsiveness, consignment payout reporting and general business manners. In my case, I discovered (because the clerk accidentally showed me their sales records for my account vs. the printout they are supposed to give sellers) valuable unsold items are suddenly missing because they have been "donated" -- while my other items of lesser quality still sit collecting dust on their shelves. When tried to discuss this with the proprietor, she was instantly defensive and wound up calling me an "ingrate", of all things. Very odd.
