ABOUT: HELMHOLZ FINE ART

Helmholz Fine Art is a gallery located in Manchester, VT, that opened to the public in 2014. The gallery’s owner, Lisa Helmholz-Adams parlayed her life experiences, insights and relationships into a fine art gallery with her name on the door and the freedom to channel proceeds from her business to a philanthropic initiative she calls Global Reach to pursue her vision of making an impact on humanitarian causes and concerns around the world.

All are invited to explore the artworks from a growing number of artists including Elizabeth Torak, Thomas Torak, Mark Wilson Meunier, Lisa Cueman, Louis Guarnaccia, Kathryn Jaliman, Margot Nimiroski, and Douglas Flackman.

ELIZABETH TORAK, embraces many of the same techniques handed down by the Old Masters and is currently working on a series of large-scale figurative pieces titled “Feast of Venus” as well as semi-abstracts. THOMAS TORAK’s classical paintings are known for their breadth and luminosity, rich color and lively brushwork. MEUNIER mastered the use of egg tempera, a very exacting medium ideal for Realism. CUEMAN photographs horses, abstracting her subjects in order to emphasize their beauty, forms, textures and lines. GUARNACCIA’s landscape paintings transition between abstract and representational. JALIMAN’s “Essence Art” paintings are a reflection of the depth of the inner worlds she explores in her life. NIMIROSKI is known for large paintings of seascapes and landscapes that offer a calming and subtle feeling and FLACKMAN is known for his American impressionistic style using dramatic light and mystical atmosphere to create the illusion of depth.

Helmholz-Adams has worked for years with the artists she represents. Most important to her is that they are all masters of their medium, successfully and consistently convey their artistic vision and message to the observer, share a passion for what they do and make an effort to educate the public.
