Freelance cartoonist Skip Morrow has authored/illustrated books, greeting cards, magazine articles and advertisements for major publishers and corporations. His watercolor originals and giclee prints are showcased in The Art of Humor Gallery.

Story

In addition to satisfying the needs of the “eclectic” collector, the two story, 2500 square foot Gallery also serves as a comprehensive walk-through portfolio for patrons, art students and commercial clients. TripAdvisor’s five star and #1 attraction in Wilmington, Vermont, the Gallery is located three miles from the center of the village of Wilmington, and just minutes from Mount Snow and Haystack Mountain. The Art of Humor Gallery also participates in the Vermont Crafts Council Spring and Fall Open Studio Weekends. Open most days 10 to 5, a call is appreciated. Admission $5 credited towards purchase.

This was such a great place to visit. Off the beaten path, but well worth the effort to find it.  I too was greeted at the door by the artist, Skip Morrow, who was extremely gracious and welcoming.  He took the time to give me a personal tour and the best part was speaking with Skip about some of his thoughts behind the artwork.  He is truly a brilliant man and a pleasure to chat and hang out with!  I didn't have a lot of time here when I visited, thus I will definitely be back to visit this awesome gallery to see what new stuff Skip has created.  Do yourself and favor and stop by here, you'll be glad you did.  Two thumbs up, way up!

Off the beaten path, on beautifully landscaped grounds with an eclectic personality. We we're greeted at the door by the artist who was more than willing to give us a personal tour. He even showed us projects he was working on. Unbelievable talent and sense of humor. Definitely worth visiting. One of a kind experience. The sky is the limit on his abilities, ideas, and ingenuity. Great visit!
