We have been going to Hemmingway's for two years now & have never been disappointed!  The food is always delicious and the service at the bar is impeccable!  We love this place!

Nice atmosphere. Table service was ok.  Had to request bread that should gave been on the table.  They were attentive, but not the friendliest.  I ordered the broiled seafood combo.  It was totally covered in butter.  The shrimp was slightly overcooked, and the crab cake was average at best.  Scallops and fish were ok, but I couldn't get around the butter.  The baked potato was not good.  It tasted like it was reheated from last night.  My wife's salad was good.  Desert was a let down, but not bad.  For a restaurant that serves  $30 entrees (which is average for Cape May) I would look elsewhere.

My wife and I celebrated our first anniversary at Hemingway's last weekend. The staff treated us like royalty, they were incredible. The food and atmosphere were exceptional as well. Special thanks to Gary and Siobhan who went out of their way all evening! We will be back.

Everyone from the hostess, to the bus boy were very attentive. My family and I found it to be competetively priced, good portions, plenty of flavor. The bartenders pour old school, and drinks were very fairly priced. Also had breakfast at the buffet. Same great service and delicous food!
