I had heard very good things about the BBQ Shack and it was all true.  Their homemade chips are a bonus!  The only thing that is missing is BBQ Chicken on the menu.

Quite possibly the best little restaurant in Oak Park. My wife and I frequent Hemingway’s on date nights as well as gatherings with friends and family. We love the quaint dim-lit atmosphere as well as the exquisite bistro menu.  All the standards like escargot, oysters, lyonnaise salad, bouillabaisse, and steak frites along with a slew of other options and exquisite deserts. Not to miss!

This is a fancy restaurant. The food is carefully prepared. The service is friendly yet formal. An Oak Park gem.

Very nice place. A bit expensive for the relatively mundane food but the staff was nice, the ambiance on point and the dining room had a fantastic natural light.

The #1 dining spot in Oak Park (and the competition is tough!). Why go to France when you could be transported not just in space but in time? Think Harry's bar accentuated with exquisite French dishes. Look forward to a waitstaff decked out in long, European aprons and steeped in the values of European service. Think of happy patrons engrossed in conversation. Have the Walleye when it's on the menu or the trout almondine or the whitefish. Save airfare! Go to Hemmingway's. Have a French 77, Manhattan Noir or a Bon Ami while you're at it.
