The cashier (Beverly) was very unfriendly and rude. She asked me if I had a hen House card and when I said I wasn't sure instead of looking it up for me she gave me an annoyed look, replied "K," and quickly told me my total. From now on I'll make the further drive to Price Chopper.

Nice clean grocery store, Pleasant to shop at. But check your grocery receipt every time you shop there, more times than not there is a mistake or two on my receipts. Examples would be:  not getting the sale price for items that are on sale, or misidentifying produce & ringing it up incorrectly. Be sure to give the cashier your Hen House card before he / she starts ringing up your groceries.

Very upset with my experience today. I don't shop at Hen House very often, I typically drive the extra ten minutes to go to Price Chopper, or Whole Foods (usually because Price Chopper has more variety and cheaper pricing). However, I stopped in today because I was in a hurry. I saw some cookies that were marked 50% off and I bought them. After buying them I realized I didn't get the marked discount. I told the manager, (she was extremely rude) she said that everyone knows the discount is for hen house card holders only. Apparently not everyone knows and it's not marked on the package!! All it says is that it's 50% off. I will continue my shopping else where, where the prices on the packages are the exact prices you see at the checkout.
