The best birthday cake I've ever had. We got a cake for my husband's 50th birthday. Ordering and pick up went very smoothly. We got exactly what we asked for in terms of cake, filling, frosting and writing. I should have taken Kay's suggestion for a 6 inch cake instead of an 8 inch cake. Her round cakes have 3 layers so the cake was almost a foot tall. It was delicious but that was a really, big cake!

Kay's cake for our wedding was phenomenal. Not only was it elegant and exactly what we envisioned, but it was the yummiest cake I've ever eaten. (And I'm not a "cake person" at all.) It was so good we didn't even wait until our one-year anniversary to eat our top tier! Kay was definitely one of the best vendor decisions we made. HIGHEST recommendation!

The wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing. Kay also make an awesome football themed Groom's cake that turned out great.

I am a wedding photographer in Kansas City and am always thrilled when I know Kay Benjamin of Take the Cake is doing the couples' cakes. They are always beautiful and taste amazing. Kay is a very sweet lady making very sweet cakes.

Kay made my wedding cake and it was amazing. Not only did it look spectacular, like out of a wedding magazine, but the taste was out of this world!  I had white cake with caramel filling, and chocolate cake with french vanilla mousse.  SO GOOD!  
My husband still raves about our wedding cake, and requests a Kay's cake for his birthday every year.
