Avoid at all costs, or else you get pulled into their scheme of hidden fraudulent charges. We called them to fix an oven and it took 3 different technicians, on which the 3rd senior technician diagnosed and fixed the issue. They took a deposit and then started charging money without letting us know. Even their own accountant and their credit and collection analysts could not figure out why there were so many charges. I never received the final invoice and now they are coming after me to pay more. This company should be shut down. DONT TELL me to contact your customer service team or Chris, as they are as incompetent as your technicians who couldn’t fix an issue and wasted my time and stole my money for an easy fix. *** UPDATE: We paid the final invoice as their CR analyst Samantha threatened to send us to collections even after informing them that the invoice is being looked at by the regional manager. We were tired after months long of dispute and they even kept the initial deposit $700 without applying that amount to final invoice. Our oven stopped working again and they refused to come check it unless they took our credit card info again for a deposit. Learn from our experience and avoid this place unless you want to be constantly stressed as their communication is horrible. If you do decide to go with them, don’t give them your credit card info.
Hello fellow restauranteurs. I feel like it's important that I give you all a heads up about this company and share my experience. Upon calling dispatch for a technician, I explained what I believed the issue to be and gave the s/n and model number for the unit to be repaired a new thermostat on one of my deep fryers. The technician arrived without the appropriate part and spent 5 minutes looking over the unit. He told me that he had to go back to the shop and grab the part. He came back later that day and spent another 30 minutes putting in the new thermostat. All good, right? Well, I received my invoice to the astonishing amount of $1217. This was them charging me $152 an hour for travel time, parts pick-up and labour 5 hours = $760; plus almost $300 for the thermostat $84 on Amazon. I easily could have purchased a new, or gently used, unit for this price. I was never consulted throughout the process and feel ripped off. I understand people need to get paid and respect the hard work of trades people, but this is just outrageous. I also have staff that I like to pay and this was a blow to the gut. Hopefully someone finds this review useful and learns from the mistake I made in using this company.
Absolutely avoid RG Henderson at all costs. This company is nothing but a bunch of thieves. They are experts at robbing you blind with hidden charges and fraudulent billing practices. They take a large deposit upfront and then started piling on charges without any notice or explanation. Even their own financial team couldn’t make sense of the ridiculous number of charges we faced. Their customer service is atrocious. Don't waste your time contacting them because they are as useless and incompetent as the rest of the company. They have zero interest in resolving issues or helping their customers. Stay far away from RG Henderson. Their communication is non-existent, and they have no intention of providing honest service. If you choose to risk dealing with them, do not give them your credit card information. This company is a complete scam, and you will end up stressed and out of pocket. Find a reputable service provider instead.
Absolutely steer clear of RG Henderson. This company is nothing but a gang of thieves, skilled at swindling you with hidden charges and fraudulent billing. Their customer service is abysmal. Don’t bother reaching out because they are as useless and incompetent as the rest of the company. They have no interest in resolving issues or assisting their customers.
This company literally shows no interests in customers and is a literal money making chaser. Like upon walking in knew it was bad news. I asked a few more questions and they get mad and all for no reason. They really have no intentions to help you out only burn you money, don't recommend, useless company.
This place is nothing but a scam. What they do is come out check your equipment and order a bunch of parts that is not needed just so they can quote you for a lot of money just for them to change everything and I promise, you will still have more issues. The management here is also very incompetent. If you still decide to go with them tho goodluck!
If I could give them zero stars I would. By far the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with, and I’m at suppliers day in and day out. Pricing is absolutely ridiculous as they know they have a monopoly. Phone wait times for parts are ridiculous, you’d think you were trying to order multimillion dollar equipment. Best of all, there is a single guy dealing with parts. He left on vacation, the morons couldn’t even edit their phone message to call someone else or another extension. Zero stars should be what they get, but sadly I can’t.
Stay away. If you Robot Coupe broke, buy a new one. I made the mistake of giving them a credit card number and the amount of hidden charges was insane. After over $1000 of charges, according to one of their technicians the equipment just needed a replacement bowl. The stipulated a $75 fee for assessment and ended up charging $160. Dishonesty and mediocrity are their mission/ vision.
They are big time Scammers, Please don't fall on their commitments, their give out false promises and their technician never shows on time. This is second time this is happened and specially with Brand New Unit which is not even used for a Min and sending a technician for Appliance which is Warranty, they are asking for Overtime Charges that too advance for $700 Dollars and then too the technician doesn't show up, upon following up after 3 days, they don't have answer when the technician will corner.
Stay clear of these people. They will scam you. They’ll take lots of money from you in advance, they’ll miss many scheduled appointments, if and when their tech arrived within 5 minutes of diagnosis he’ll tell you he needs to order parts. Their office will demand more money for parts despite having paid already in advance. They’ll tell you that $800 all dried up due to their time for you calling them and speaking with them on the phone, for their gas charge, for their travel charge, for the tech’s time for diagnosing, and for their minimum charge for just coming out their per visit. I was bewildered. She wanted $687.34 more for parts and installation. Reluctantly I paid we desperately needed the grill repaired and we were already out $800. Their tech intentionally damaged another burner on the same grill. It’s been 5 months now and they don’t answer my calls. They took $1,487.34 from me and disappeared. After almost 2 weeks of waiting on them and realizing we’ve been robbed by them we hired another company. What did it cost? $200 for the gentleman’s labour and $186 for parts, and he made 2 trips. It was poor judgement on my behalf for not having read the reviews on RG Henderson. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
