I highly recommend the lunch combo, half-grilled cheese with tomato gastrique and pear-pecan salad. The food was delicious and plenty. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The only downside is the price (that combo plus a Diet Coke, taxes and tip added up to $23, yikes). So not an everyday lunch place but very nice. A needed “classic pub” in this neighborhood.

Great food and nice vibe! They have an area for fast ordering pickup and go just to the right when you walk in. Also to the right is what they call their "quiet area" which is a modern lounge area with nice comfy chairs. This is where I love sitting, nicer vibe than their main seating area. They've got a great menu for both food and libations. My husband had the peanut butter bacon burger and said it was amazing but next time he would ask for more peanut butter. I had the Reuben and it was A+-mazing!!! Seriously! I am SO picky about my Reuben and hardly ever order them when I eat elsewhere because a lot of times there's either too much sauerkraut or the bread is soft and not toasted good enough, or soggy. This was a perfect Reuben with a fair amount of meat and sauerkraut. The sauerkraut was great flavor too, not super bitter or sour, almost savory like. We both had plain French fries but were very tempted to get their Gorgonzola french fries. They looked delish on other peoples plates and we will likely try them next time. Definitely check it out this is a great place to eat, drink or just kill some time in their lounge area. Only thing I wish they had was more options for coffee. They just offer drip coffee.

Was nice, not super impressed,  ice cream sandwich is made in house and good. Waffle fries are good, grilled cheese sandwich tasted a little sweet for some reason. Crowded during the lunch. Veggie burger is nice.

I have only visited once, and I got the Orange Chicken which is admittedly abnormal compared to their other items. It was good and they had a small and large option which was nice for lunch. But overall, it was a bit crowded seating wise (tables in the bar were too close to the bar) and the dish I had was average in my eyes.

I really had high hopes for this place. We had gone a couple of times and it was aces. They have this beer cooler pad built into the bar that keeps your beer cool over long stretches of time. The selection was great.

It went downhill when we went once and ordered our usual, a Franziskaner Heffe. It was served with a wedge of citrus fruit in it.

I, having had this beer several times over the past few years in two countries was confused. At this bar, they had previously served this with no fruit. My drinking partner had had this beer in many countries as well, including Germany, and this was the first time he had encountered fruit in this 655 year old beer. We brought this up to the bartender and his response was "that's how it's served." To which we respond, "No, we have had this a lot and it has never been served this way."

This started an argument with the bartender. He eventually replaced the beer, but his attitude over the course of the whole thing really ruined my taste for this bar. We now go to Feierabend instead.
