A progressive, friendly, small animal hospital providing wellness and preventative care for dogs and cats. We are available for emergency and sick visits as well during our regular office hours. We currently close from 12-1 for a short lunch hour Monday through Friday.

This office is a godsend out here at the end of the land! My girl Maple has had excellent care by everyone who has helped us, from the techs to the docs. I moved here two years ago and was fretting some at having to leave the vet I have had for 20 years with various pets. I needn't have though - because these people are really great. Knowledgeable, kind and excellent with dog and human alike. Now, when it's time to go to the vet, my girl gets out of the car and drags me to the office door with tail wagging. The only drawback is that for major medical emergencies you mostly need to go to another practice which is not near by. Otherwise, I recommend this practice highly!

Love this hospital and Dr. Hutchings!  She is thorough, knowledgeable and has a great way with my cats.

Went with emergency and they had no sense of urgency.  Waited for 40 minutes.  Receptionist,Taylor, was not friendly or helpful.  Finally, after we were insulted, someone looked at our dog and said she would be okay.   Once we met with doctor and assistant, service was good and friendly.  Maybe locals would get better initial service.

Usually good docs; Lousy practice. Our dogs have been treated by Dr. Hutchins and she is an excellent Vet.  But she is not the owner of this practice and she does not set policy. Despite her good care, this clinic is constantly seeking to impose additional and unnecessary charges.  Their follow up is horrible. They will charge hundreds in lab tests but never call to report the results. There is no alternative here in Provincetown. A good outcome would be to keep the Vet but abandon the owners of this clinic.

We have only the most favorable comments for Dr. Hutchings and our Lower Cape Animal Hospital Group. This is Yogi. Yogi arrived to Provincetown aged 12 weeks. Now 8 months he's completed all his puppy inoculations. Experts with the syringe the little guy is casually aware in his exams. In fact he is eager to make the trek across town to see the group - ok, so maybe it's the treats too! We could not be more pleased and highly recommend establishing are permanent, if not secondary relationship, with our Provincetown Vet group. SPH
