Booked with Hertz through Spirit airlines, of course our flight was delayed so when we get to Hertz the agent tells me I'm late and they don't have any more cars. OK, he then says Budget rentals next door will match the rate and closes up and leaves. Budget says the can't match the rate, and since they are the only other option at the time, i'm stuck paying another 60% over the rate at which I reserved. What's the point in having a reservation system if it doesn't mean you actually have a reservation?

The person who checked me out was good. But when I returned my car, they added erroneous charges. The guy I called to inquire about it was VERY RUDE. Use the other companies.

Agent was quick and efficient, car was clean, and no extra charges appeared on my account.
