Worst rental car experience EVER! We We spoke to the Montrose office the morning of our flight and  promised the location would be open when our flight arrived at 6PM, but they closed and left us stranded at the airport. Thankfully #AVIS saved us but for 2x the price.  Trying to resolve this with Hertz for a refund has been a nightmare. They have the worst customer service! DO NOT EVER RENT FROM #Hertz

THE WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE! SUPPOSED TO BE AN INSURANCE CLAIM RENTAL HOWEVER I HAD TO CANCEL MY DEBIT CARD DUE TO LAZINESS! NO FOLLOW THROUGH PER INSTRUCTIONS, INSTEAD MY CARD WAS CHARGED FOR RENTAL DAYS I DOD NOT HAVE THE VEHICLE!  - VEHICLE WAS RETURNED 4 DAYS AGO & MY CARD IS STILL BEING CHARGED AS THOUGH I WAS IN POSSESSION OF THE VEHICLE. VEHICLE  WAS RENTED TO ME FILTHY, CIGARETTE BUTTS IN CAB AND TRASH/CIGARETTES ALL OVER THE BED OF TRUCK! CALLS GO UNANSWERED, MESSAGES GET NO RETURN CALLS . 
I HAVE FILED FORMAL COMPLAINTS WITH STATE FARM (AS A DIRECT PAY VENDOR) AS WELL AS WITH HERTZ CORP.
