Ownership changed hands a while back and food quality has been inconsistent.  Depending on whether they've changed the fryer greased in a while, your catfish and fried shrimp may or may not be tasty.  Overcooking seems to be the order of the day for most fried items.  Desserts are pretty bad.

I don't mean to paint too bleak a picture.  Like I said, it's inconsistent.  Sometimes it's really good, but the very next time could prove the opposite.

Catfish, chicken, and gumbo were all fantastic. Dessert was amazing as well. Kids enjoyed their dinner too.

Fish an quail needed to be cooked longer corn on cob tasted like dirt, an my refill on tea was hot an very little ice! We were Very disappointed :( an for 15 bucks a plate I expected alot better!!:(

The food and service was Amazing. Best southern cooking I've had in a long time. Catfish,  briscot,  fried shrimp, peel N eat shrimp, frog legs.....well prepared and cooked well. I can't say enough good about this place. I saw another review where they said they went downhill since they last sold, I just don't and can't see that
