This place was wonderful! My mother and I stopped by for lunch before the Art Museum. The menu was full of great things. I went with the open face pastrami sandwich and soup. I was very impressed. I will definitely come back if I'm ever in Portland again.

One of the best wait staffs in Portland. Highly knowledge about the menu, food allergies, and options. There are both very expensive and reasonable lunch options. The menu is sophsiticated without being pretentious and the flavors are strong and we'll paired. They also make a fantastic Arnold Palmer that avoids the normal error of making them too sweet.

Had a birthday lunch with Girlfriends. Lovely atmosphere, food was great and our waiter knew to let gab for awhile when we first were seated. Perfect!

Visited this establishment this evening. A group of friends and I visit a new-to-us restaurant every Sunday. Wait staff was quite excellent! Zero complaints about them! A friend and I split the New York Strip special with braised vegetables (can't remember what the greenery was), brussel sprouts, potatoes, and a horseradish creme fraiche. Flavors were rich and delicious. I am VERY glad I split it with my friend, though. It was almost $50 for the meal, whereas splitting it was easier on the wallet. It is also worth noting it was a significant amount of food for the $50. Overall, while it was delicious, it wasn't as good as I would hope for that kind of cost. There was complimentary bread while we waited, but no alternative. It would have been preferable to have carrot sticks, stalks of celery, etc. for some of us than artisan bread whether for dietary restriction or allergies. Even for organic carrots, it's only a few dollars for a few lbs of carrots. Why not have them?

Great cocktails in a cozy environment. Staff have always been attentive and helpful. It's a go-to for after dinner drinks.
