The people here genuinely care. I have been a member here for many, many years. The last 5yrs or so I have rarely been able to attend & there is now only 1 pastor left from when I transferred my membership from another Methodist church. The new pastors are amazing ladies! I feel like I've known them my whole life. They made me comfortable & like I belonged there immediately. They didn't know at the time of our meeting that I was already a member. No false pretenses, no fake niceness, no trying to get money out of me, only genuine concern for someone who was hurting.

Beautiful building with lots of parking. But the streets around it are mostly one way so watch which way you at going. The facility look really well cared for. When I was there it was decorated for Christmas with simple decorations. The organ is amazing and everyone was very nice. The balcony is accessible and offers a good view of the proceedings.

Downtown United Methodist Christian church, Sunday School, preschool and daycare, plus weekly small-group gatherings. This historic landmark building and parking lots sits on a full city block, bordered by High Street (east), Adams Street (south), Franklin Street (west) and Jackson Street (north). Welcoming atmosphere and caring congregation.
