The Highland and rehab place It’s dangerous to leave a loved one there. The place was understaff and issues with care for my family member and the air and environment sucked. The current employees and temporary workers did not maintain this rehab and Nursing home. I would not recommend anyone this place. I had a loved one there and was not happy with the services offered here. The Nurses and the CNA did not maintain a clean environment it always smelled it caused my family member to have more health issues. This place needs to closed or be taken over by the State.

Does it even deserve one star? If you are a nurse do not work here, you will lose your license quick. There's roaches, the CNA's are rude and do not care about the patients, and half of the soap dispensers don't even have soap in them. The director of nursing doesn't care about employees and will purposefully work them short. Even when it is fully staffed there is not nearly enough to give proper care to these patients. This facility will take any patient, even if they are a liability, even if they are psych. I don't know how they are still open, I give it 5 years at the most.

One of the worse facilities I've seen. Filthy and highly under staff and over worked staff.  They are not patient/resident care oriented.  No supplies or proper linens. I feel sorry for the residents who have to live here.  The government needs to shut it down, but the government is who gets paid, so it continues to operate like a run down prison.  Why do people still have family in these filthy places😢

Dangerously understaffed. Employee's are worked way to hard and way to many hours being pushed to their legal limit. This is not a safe environment to work, and not worth risking any liscense or certification you have. Most of the staff are completely unprofessional and burnt out from being run to death and who can honestly blame them? An their is no way for these nurses and CNAs to give the car their patients need. State really need to come in and close this place down, I'm not sure why it hasn't happened yet. This is by far the worst facility I have seen in Louisville and this place is worse then an Elmcroft facility that got shut down just 9 months ago. The patients are in horrible condition due to la k of care from understaffing. The facility is not clean at and their are bugs bugs and more bugs. I pray something gets done for this facility. An if you're even thinking of applying, think twice.
