Our long distance move was one of the worst experiences of our 47 years of marriage.  Incompetent craters, they broke our marble dining room table into two pieces.  Not enough loaders and it took them 10 hours to load the van. The loaders expressed concern that they would not get paid. Stopped loading at one point to call their boss to say they were not going to work overtime for nothing.  Our move was on July 5th.  Today is December 5th and we are still working with the insurance company for reimbursement of missing and damaged items.  They are denying our claim.  Pretty much calling us liars.   When the moving company emailed a survey requesting our comments about our move, we gave them details of what a disaster the whole thing was.  Never got a reply or comment from Hilldrup or Mayflower.  I'm pretty sure that you won't see this review.  All the reviews on Hilldrup's website are five stars.  Really?????

Terrible experience. We recently used Hilldrup to move our family. When they first arrived and walked thru the house they were commenting that some things would look nice in there house... Then a box labeled "Electronics" could never be found. I guess that is my fault for labeling the outside of the box with what was inside. A television screen was cracked. Furniture was broken and scratched. A couch was ripped. They were also extremely slow. We packed the house and put the boxes in our garage. It still took them over 8 hours to inventory the boxes and put them on the truck. When they unloaded the truck they were also very slow.

It was a very positive experience and everything went very well. There were no breaks or tears and we were very pleased. The only problem we have had since the move is the person who disconnected the ice maker. The person at first thought there was a leak but then was able to to disconnect it. The person who bought the house said there was a leak and when he contacted the person he said he told us this was a possibility. We moved that day. So in addition to paying $80 to disconnect we will have to pay for plumber for our old house. Please consider replacing this person. I did not feel he was professional. Thank you for excellent service other than this that i know is resourced out. I would gladly recommend your company to anyone. Lou O'Brien

Outstanding swrvice by the team at Hilldrup. Erin, my moving coordinator, was quick to respond and made the set up painless. The packers and movers themselves were 100% professional. I was out of state on business when my things were packed, leaving my wife and mom with them - the comfort level was tremendous. 

These folks were a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

Chad and the entire moving team are fabulous!  They make what is typically a stressful situation one of confidence in their abilities.  I could not ask for better service and customer care. They are the dream team!
