I've been to Hillside a few times, and always liked their products.  The prices ARE on the higher side, but are different from the furniture found at other Detroit area stores (I.e. Art Van, Gardner White), and cater to a demographic that has a higher household income.  Therefore, don't complain or diminish the quality because you cannot afford it.

Found some fabulous toss pillows.  Wish I were in need of furniture right now!  They have many high quality, totally unique items on sale.  Service was beyond outstanding and so friendly

This is not hillside anymore. They closed down and this is now an ArtVan store. Good space and great selection

Love this place! Amazing contemporary and unique furniture .... so sad they are closing! There is no one like them-No one with unique pieces of furniture !

They have been "going out of business" for over 4 months now, with prices still higher after discount then most furniture stores around. Pitiful. Good riddance, rip off artists.
