I didn't even know that Hilltop Mall had changed its name to The Shops at Hilltop!!?? But, it is even more sad it's that it starts looking like a ghost mall, with most of their business closing, or already gone! Yesterday, we when to learn if Hallmark was still there, and lucky for us, it is still open but it will be close on February 15, so they have a marked down on most items because of closing for good! Walking around the mall, we saw a sign at one of the retailers spaces that read: "full renovation in 2018" but it didn't explain if the stores will be back or they are going to do a different kind of building like some rumors saying about apartments!

Hood rats - everywhere. Nothing is clean. Everyone is rude, especially the small business owners who only want you to quickly buy something and leave without trying anything on. Watched a man dig around in the water fountain for change and a security guard passed him up without a care in the world. There isn't anywhere for children to play except for a small reclining area. The merry go round wastes space to walk and play. The whole mall is just falling apart. I can't wait for this mall to be torn apart and built into something productive.

Hilltop Mall is going to get a new look. Heard in the news it was bought by investor to transform into an Asian themed shopping center which has movie theater, hotel, and lots of apartments.

It was exactly what we needed in a pinch... it was right off the freeway open till 10pm and they definitely had what we needed!!

There are allot of empty store fronts. Depending on your taste and style you may or may not dibs what you are looking for. The variety of shops is in the air. If you need shoes they have it on lock down. Clothing is real limited to a select demographic.
