This place has seriously gone down hill. I started staying here 4 years ago when I traveled to Morgantown. After my last stay two weeks ago I will no longer give this hotel my business. Front desk clerk was unprofessional and unfamiliar with Hilton check in protocol. The adjustable air mattresses are literally the worst! They used to put me in rooms that had traditional inner spring beds but not any more. I was on an important work call in the morning at around 9:00am and house keeping just entered my room with little to no knock at all. Over all this was a terrible experience. I am guessing its because of new management, but seriously Hilton corporate need to get in and fix this place up because it is not doing a good job at representing that brand right now.

Beautiful hotel and area. Really lovely. The only downside was breakfast which consists of a paid for "buffet" waited on dining experience. Our "waitress" seemed like she did not want to be there. It definitely made us ask less from her and ultimately lowered our breakfast in quality and amount.

Stopped at this hotel on the way to FL from NY as my wife and I always prefer Hilton over most national chains. It was not up to the standards of the Hilton Corporation. The hot tub and heated pool were closed off for some reason although they were perfectly clean and functioning. I was sooooooo looking forward to that after a few hours on the road.  The shower was dirty with black hair and mold in a multitude of colors. Morning coffee in the lobby was cold and ran out at 6:30 am. Carpets throughout were heavily soiled and discolored. Place needs an upgrade badly....probably due to the heavy traffic from University of West Virginia. ...kinda wish we had passed this exit and spent our $130 elsewhere.

Hotel was ok. Staff always seemed to be missing but were nice when you finally found them. No free breakfast which was my fault for noticing that online before I made my reservation. Could have stayed at the Hampton up the street, same price, free breakfast.

The girl at the front desk turned my stomach as soon as I checked in.  She asked my last name around the mouthful of food she had just taken and made no attempt to cover her food or to properly greet me.  This is not a good example of HGI.  There was no bottled water available my whole stay. If it hadn't been for Loren, the girl at the front desk on day 2, I probably would have checked out.  Loren was warm, friendly and welcoming.  She was a shining exception to an otherwise mediocre experience.
