Best for getting on and off island and it's not too far from family there.

Was flying back home to New York in August. Only American flies turboprops here due to the short runway, and these planes aren't capable of flying in any sort of bad weather. We had a light drizzle here in Hilton Head, and the flight was cancelled. I checked the weather all the way up to Charlotte and there wasn't any other weather in our path. Had to drive an hour the next morning to SAV.

There are no restrooms or water fountains after security, so if you’re thirsty you need coins (as cc don’t work, and bills rarely work)

I’m surprised it’s legal not to have water available after security, as sometimes these prop planes can be delayed for hours

Great airport family that I visit lives 10 minutes from the airport so pretty fast getting there  to and from the airport you can even hear the planes from there house to friendly staff and tsa be flying again in December for Christmas  can't wait

This was the worst flying experience of my life. Once we got on the flight we were about an hour in when they needed to turn around the plane to fly back and I couldn't be rebooked until the next day at four. This caused me to miss an awards show as well as an important appointment. Thanks a lot.
