Spent 9 hours here today just to be in front of the judge for 5 minutes. Sitting in a room for 9 hours without anything to eat or drink was horrendous. They need a better system because I've never been through such a dysfunctional court process until now
The judge needs to retire. He can’t recall information that was given to him two seconds within the case, it’s sad and for the clerks to see this and let this be okay is failing those who are going before this man. The officers in Hinesville are trash they take advantage of being an officer and will try to get you to respond in a negative manner to give them a reason to either lock you up or give you the worse ticket they possibly can. The city is run down and all they want is to charge the people, they don’t care for justice.
The judge doesn’t listen to you. The city is rundown so their only interest is to target drivers to make money. They made an error on my court date and charged me for failing to appear.
I am old enough to remember Full Service Gas Stations. Looking back, they did so much more than fill the tank. Mind you, gas was $.50 cents a gallon. For fifty cents my Gramsy would get her tires, oil, wiper fluid, and air filter checked. The windows would be cleaned too; but it is that little something else... the human factor which Alexa, Google, and other very helpful AI will never duplicate. Stopped by today to tell the City of Hinesville something you most likely already know: Mrs. Darlene Ignaszewski - Senior Deputy Court Clerk, is a diamond in the rough! After exchanging emails, Mrs. Darlene reached out to me in Virginia with her assistance in helping to remedy a difficult situation. In a time when our Public Servants are under fire for all they do not do, let us take a moment to recognize the contribution this wonderful woman makes daily to the residents of the beautiful state of GA. You are kind, knowledgeable, professional, non-judgmental, empathetic, encouraging, and a beacon of light shining brightly helping folks like me to navigate their way. If you know her, see her, or have the pleasure of making her acquaintance; give her a shoutout from Mr. Banks in VA. Thank you Mrs. Darlene Ignaszewski!
The woman that answers the municipal court phone is VERY unprofessional & rude. They do not care to help or hear about your situation. If you pay your traffic violation, and live out of state you’re still guilty & THEY WILL suspend your license & make you pay more. What’s the point of paying the fine if your license is going to get suspended either way? “Hire an attorney.” What about the people who can’t afford an attorney because the court TOOK everything they had and more? 10/10 DON’T RECOMMEND
DO NOT waste your time trying to prove anything in this court for a traffic citation. Hinesville finest will always prevail in this court and you are better off paying your ticket. The judge wont listen to you nor do they believe in leniency even for a very minor traffic citation. You can have the perfect driving record for over 10 years and they will still make it sound like you are the worst driver in the world. They just want your money for this broke City.
The clerk's office is horrible! I wasted my time seeing a judge in hopes he'd help, Wrong. Pretty much laughed in my face. Horrible justice system in Hinesville .All I wanted was to be listened to and help for a member of my family.
The city of Hinesville wasted Millions of tax payer dollars so they can have nice offices. Follow the money, they keep taxing us more and spending like its their money. This is ridiculous! They do not realize they are PUBLIC SERVANTS!
DO NOT GO INTO COURT FOR A TRAFFIC TICKET. They lie to you in order to bring in more revenue for their trash of a city. Just pay the fine online. Leniency does not exist here, you are an object to be used.
This lady felt the need to ask about my life then decided to lecture me about college. Dont mean to be rude but mind you're own business and do you're job. Didnt come for you to waste my time lecturing me.
