Travis came out to my house with some south of the border help. It was absolutely aweful. One of the guys reminded me of the tazmanian devil on meth! he was all over the place with headphones on spilling things and putting holes through the wall on the other side of the bathroom not paying attention. he claimed it was a small touch up but after getting the money he was gone and the repair unfinished. dont let these monkeys near your home!

We only gave Hinkle Construction a 5-star rating because there wasn't anything higher! Everyone hears horror stories about remodeling contractors and construction companies, so we were thrilled and amazed to find Mark & Travis Hinkle and witness the quality and personalized service they provide. On the recommendation of a very selective friend, we used them and have since referred them on to our local friends and family who have been equally satisfied. Not only did they do an excellent initial remodel for us, they've been back several times for additional projects and maintenance work, always cheerfully and attentive. You don't need to look any further--Hinkle Construction is the best! Webers of Los Altos

Hinkle Construction first remodeled a rental property for me in 1996. It was a little house but a big task. It required digging out from under the house to make an 18" crawl space, leveling the foundation and revitalizing the interior. With 20 years of real estate experience, I expected the worst from yet another typical contractor: inferior work, no-shows and slow progress. I was amazingly surprised, owner Mark Hinkle showed up on time for our appointment, began work without a materials deposit, and completed the task on time with an eye for high return/low cost repairs and improvements. What a rare find he is. Two years later, we purchased a wonderful Spanish Villa in downtown San Jose. Built in 1920, it had plenty of character and lots of old everything - electrical, pipes, roof, windows and cabinets. Mark helped us to upgrade the “in the wall" stuff without damaging the lathe and plaster. We also replaced the kitchen with a modern version in an old Spanish style. It was beautiful. He also attached the house to the foundation so we would qualify for earthquake insurance. An atypical construction project all completed with good humor and attention to detail. We were pleased. Since then, Mark has renovated three rental homes for us. He is the only contractor we use - large project or small. If you would like to speak personally to me, ask Mark for my phone number. If not, use Hinkle Construction anyway...you will be glad you did. No doubt, a five star company. PS. We recently had Hinkle Construction upgrade our closets. We currently live in a typical track home on the coast. Typical I say because every closet is to small and the garage came without a single shelf. You should see us now - organized and beautiful inside and out.

Calling Hinkle Construction was the best thing that could have happened. As a female having strange men come into my home to do home improvements was a concern, but Mark and Travis not only did fantastic work but were professional, patient and courteous. I couldn't have asked for better service and my home looks wonderful!!!
