My family and I love having this little theater in town!  Chris at the ticket booth has saved me money on multiple occasions. One time I pre-purchased  tickets online with a credit card because they lack the capability to accept the discount card online. When I arrived at the ticket booth Chris (without me even thinking to ask) refunded my credit card and charged my discount card (I think saving me 15-20%). I hope that people will be patient with some of the limitations this little theater faces having a relatively small population to draw their clientele from. Admittedly, there are some things that could be improved, but I think they are doing a fine job considering the small budget I’m assuming they have to work with. Hopefully our community will continue to support this little theater. Maybe buy a few treats at the theater instead of sneaking everything in. If I’m not mistaken, movie theaters have to pay steep royalties to the film industry for the rights to show the films and rely on concessions sells for most of their profits. Thanks for being here Hitching Post! My two cents.

Good theater in Tehachapi.  You can buy a card for multiple admissions.  Fairly comfy seats and good sound.  Reliable projector and good variety of movies.  Hot dogs for a buck.  Usual other theater food.  Saw "Darkest Hour" and really enjoyed it.

Dress warm. Coldest theater I’ve ever been in. I was literally shaking from the cold. Very few options in the snack bar, but a couple of unique offerings...if you like doughnuts.

I love Tehachapi's only movie theater. It's small, and quaint. They did put in new seating a few years ago, so that's nice. The snack bar had some pretty tasty options. If you are looking to see a movie, and do not require any luxury, this is your place! Great local staple.

The sound is good.  The concession stand has some good snacks, not just the usual stuff.  The hot dogs are only a dollar.  Sometimes it's cold in the winter.
