Cute old theater showing first run films. It probably holds 100 people and has a rather small screen. Right next to good restaurants and Gre at for a date night.

With the support of Jenkintown’s own hometown hero Bradley Cooper, an iconic, Old World, Americana theater has been revitalized and preserved as a 21st Century hotspot. Come out on a Friday night and see actual lines of all kinds of patrons, eagerly anticipating the carefully-chosen and always-impactful films shown here. The screening room itself is spacious and posh but you really come to experience movie-going in a different and comforting way, what we as filmmakers nostalgically think of as the way movies we were meant to be seen, as a regular, communal, & social ritual...But I digress, enjoy the movie!

I hate multiplexes, the crowds and commercialism. The Hiway is a delightful return to cozy, comfortable single-screen neighborhood theaters of the past. And if that weren't enough, it shows some of the finest, tasteful, first-run films.

Really enjoyed the theatre, hadn’t been there in years. Will return again soon. ‘The Post’ was riveting.

A real treasure. Wonderful comfortable seats. Plenty of room between rose, friendly staff, cheap eats. Reminiscent of theaters i went to add a kid and teen. Only place my husband will see a movie!
