What a great place to deal with.  Super nice staff and they pay fair! This place goes above and beyond for the customer.  The Manager knows his stuff! have dealt with him for many years first in Barrie, then in Bradford and Aurora.  He has a great team and it is a pleasure to deal with each of them.  Save your self the time and energy and only go to Hock Shop  Canada in Newmarket.  Excellent selection of everything from jewellery to guitars to games.  You will always find something here and be treated like a friend.

LOVE THIS PLACE !!!! The staff - Brian, Lisa and Graham are AMAZING !!  Very professional - knowledgeable - great prices on a variety of really interesting items - never leave without buying something really cool  :)

Most of their stuff is kind of dirty, but got some Atari and Intellivision games. Great place for retro gamers to checkout.

These guys are scum... especially the guy claims to be an "expert" in music. Super pretentious and will undercut you at any opportunity. Take the time to go to another location if possible! They will be more fair

Do not go here for musical instruments.  I brought in a 1984 Larrivee bass guitar and he would not make an offer saying "I have been doing this for a long time it needs a lot of work" the only problem with the bass is the finish is in rough shape, but function is immaculate as I just had it serviced at The Arts Newmarket and the finish is something that is not to be redone or worked on as it would take away from the character and original finish.  The Arts Newmarket said it was a Honor to work on a piece of Canadian history while this guy shurgs it off like it was some kind of broken copy.  Also when I told him it was a Larrivee he said is a smug tone "Can you prove it to me?" and I replied yes I can have a expert at The Arts tell you how he knows it is genuine, and he just shook his head lol...   It is also worth noting that I was not looking for a lot of money as I only needed a pawn loan for less than a week.
