We had a really nice time at the zoo today. 4 kids under the age of 5. They loved all the animals. But they especially loved the play area for kids. The playground looked awesome but I think it should have had a few more slides or bridges. The rock formations look awesome but can't really be played on much. It was too early in the season for the splash pad to be open but it looked fun.

Hogle Zoo is a fun little zoo. It's a great place to spend the day with the family. There are plenty of displays and activities to keep you busy for hours. The footprint of the Zoo is small and so the use of space has been optimized for the animals that live there and for the education of the people who visit them. The cost may seem high for a single visit; but, the zoo has memberships that allow unlimited visits throughout the year and easily pay for themselves with just a few visits. There is a carousel and small train, that gives a short tour of a portion of the zoo, that children and grandchildren love. Hogle Zoo is a Wonderful place to share time with family and friends and too learn about some of the creatures we share this Earth with.

We always love going to the zoo! The animals you get to see are great. We've seen them all from each side of the spectrum, from laying down and sleeping all the way through running and jumping and playing. The variety of animals is what makes it great. We get season passes each year and gone constantly throughout the year. I love being able to come home from work and just go up and walk around for an hour or so and enjoy the nice outdoors. Our daughter loves looking at all the animals. They have a few places to eat food. Items like hamburgers, pizza, salad, and macaroni and cheese for the kids. The prices are more than a fast food restaurant but not entirely outlandish. For season pass holds the refillable mugs are a must. We refill ours for $1 each time we go.

There is so much to see here! We were there for almost 4 hours, and we really only saw everything once. The gift shop and food was a little pricey, but that was easy to overlook with the amount of animals we got to see. Only a couple of exhibits were closed, and the enclosures make it easy to find almost everything else. Both my son (he's 12) and I agreed we would love to go back again next time we are in Utah. Overall it was a great experience, and I am very happy we were able to go.

Went on a date here and had lots of fun. :) However I had a awful experience here with the grown adults and teens, but the staff and zoo itself are amazing. Little pro tips: - Check the time you’re going to see if it’s busier than usual! - Prepare to be pushy with grown men and women standing in the front of the exhibits. Most of the time you’re tall enough to see, and still let parents and their kids or the handicap in the front so they can also get what they paid for. I felt bad seeing grown adults not let a little girl who was in a wheel chair see the animals because they wanted to stand right in front when they could have seen the animals just as well standing behind the wheelchair. Would be nice if people were less rude to the ones who don’t have the advantages of others. Same with parents and little kids. I personally helped plenty of struggling moms who were trying to let their kids see the animals, but couldn’t because once again tall grown adults wouldn’t let them in front of them knowing damn well they could still see the animals if a little child was in front of them. You really shouldn’t go to places like this if you’re rude or inconsiderate of others. Everyone pays the same, everyone deserves to have a good experience. Don’t let your negative self get in the way of letting everyone having a good time.
