The Inn is very nice and is placed directly off of the main road in town. The continental breakfast was delicious and bigger than expected. The pool and workout room were adequate enough. Was in middle of construction though.

Checked in late after a long long days drive. Pass out in a comfy bed at around 12am. Wake up at 5 to discover that the shades on the window are translucent paper screwed directly to the window sill. Light flooding the room and no way to block the light. Like a previous guest tore the drapes off or something and this was the quick fix. So 5ish hours of sleep. I politely complained to the desk on checking out and they say unconcernedly, " oh yeah, those are paper. Sorry about that." Then ends the conversation with a half hearted have a nice day. Not even an attempt to make it right. Full price (and that ain't cheap)for a broke ass room. Uncaring staff. 2nd poor experience at a holiday inn express. Lost a customer here.

In response to Mr. Breuer's review of our hotel. At least half of our hotel is occupied by Government employees with the Government rate. We only have a certain amount of Government rated rooms available each night. All of our guests are informed of the rate prior to check in so that there are no misunderstandings at check out. I do wish we had more rooms to offer all of the people working so hard to keep out little town safe. Thank you.

Best hotel in Oroville. Currently in the process on redoing the interior. Staying in a brand new suite and it's fantastic.

Friendly staff and decent breakfast, however, the remodeling construction is not pretty. In fact, some of the new wallpaper is already coming off in the corner of walls. Also the pool was cold this time. It was not 80 degrees as normally advertized.
