Both the staff and participants here are considerate to each other. There are individuals of all ages, genders and color. It is a welcoming environment to come to after a stressful day at work. Because of my schedule that changes weekly I often come her in the evenings or after midnight. In addition I a am able to get personal training to meet my needs. Such as the occasional boxing lessons that helped me pick up my speed as a cashier at work. The most important thing about coming here are the people here.

All the staff at Hollywood Fitness are AMAZING! I have always been too shy and scared to join a gym, but this place is very welcoming and comfortable. My boyfriend and I usually work out at late at night, and Jeff is always there to greet us! He is super nice, helpful, and awesome to talk to! I recommend this place for anyone of all fitness levels.

This is a fabulous gym! The parrot Buddy is the life and King of the place, the vibe is super positive and friendly. The workers are trained well, the facilities are always more than adequate with plenty to use even in peak hours. The price is CRAZY great and today (impetus for writing this was gratitude) I found out I was 10 days behind on my fees and they were very understanding and nice about it. I just moved, have spent $3000+ on hotel fees, move-ins, applications and everything plus...just the last few nights had been squeezed badly from some crazy tings which triggered PTSD. So it's a hard time for me all over and this gym is rock solid. You gotta give respect and Kudos where's it's deserved. Look no further, you found yourself a great gym:)

I've been a member since 2008 & have been training with Jeff since early 2011. Since then my strength keeps improving & my shoulder/joint pain has gone away completely. The gym has upgraded the equipment many times since I've started & the staff is also great! Best gym in Portland!

I really like this place. Price is good, staff are super friendly and I feel very comfortable while working out. I'm glad we signed up at this place.
