This place is Horrible! Stay Away!
We were suppose to have our furniture delivered on a Saturday (2 weeks after we ordered) & our couch was set to be delivered 6 weeks later cause it was “special ordered”. I work during the week and they said no problem on the Saturday delivery. Well when Friday Came I called to confirm my order was being delivered cause I haven’t heard anything, now it was they don’t do Saturday deliveries, really? So we set it up for Tuesday 12-6 I took the day off of work and at 530 no lie I got a call the truck broke down. So they ended up delivering it Wednesday at about 8 at night, and that was after I called and complained. Everything was ok but noticed they forgot the box spring to one of the beds, so they came back out Thursday delivered that but it didn’t even match the mattress brand. Even the guys delivering said Home Design is the worst. After all that my couch arrived, now mind you I was at work, I get home and it looks NOTHING like the couch I wanted at the store. So I call the next day and they give me some reason that blew my mind. The couch I ordered was another kind of leather. I was confused cause I picked the color from the exact couch I wanted which was on the floor for show. She tells me well I didn’t know you wanted that leather, we have 2 different types. Really because you never told me that in the store. I saw the floor model and said I want that same exact couch and she ordered it while not saying one thing about changing the kind of leather is was. Then I told her I want it changed or refunded which she replied there’s no refunds or changes on “special orders” she would be willing to give me the floor model if I paid another $600, or $900 more for a new one and it would take 6 weeks, really? I just spent $8000 on furniture from you guys. DONT GO HERE. HORRIBLE PLACE.

The store and its staff are lovely. Follow through after the sale was very lacking. They did have staffing issues with getting repair personal to respond to a request for repairs. They state those issues have been taken care of.

My wife and I purchased two beds, and adjustable frames totaling over $3000 in 2017.  Within days of installation, we noticed that the adjustable frames made very loud "clunking" sounds when one or the other person attempted to get in or out of bed.  Realizing this wasnt normal, we contacted "Jackie" our salesperson, who is the daughter of the owner, and she immediately "scheduled" an inspector to look at the problem.  It was two additional two phone calls, and three weeks later that the inspector arrived.  He couldnt pinpoint the problem but agreed it was a manufacturing defect as he had investigated six (!) other complaints of the same nature for these same bed frames.  We never heard one more thing from "Jackie".  Fast forward six months, we were fed up with our King mattress which was mgf. by Ashley, a well known brand.  The mattress, in the course of six months, had developed a noticeable depression in the middle which caused the two of us to want to roll towards the middle of the bed.  Harkening back to when "Jackie" represented these mattresses as "guaranteed" by Ashley, we called her, explained the situation, she said she would check with Ashley and call us right back... Well, to say the least, that never happened. We called once again, left a message for her, she never called back.  Here's the bottom line:  You have a business selling products they dont stand by; You have a major player in that business that doesnt respond properly, or in good faith;  You have an Owner's daughter who mispresents the products and services the company sells.  Not a good combination.  Patronize at your own peril...
