Everything about our first visit here was wonderful. The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and well-informed. The restaurant is not overcrowded with tables, and in fact the room where we were seated had just two tables in it. Nice and quiet - we could converse with our friends easily. The menu is short and innovative. We shared tastes and loved everything we ordered. Another huge plus - if none of the pasta offerings on the menu appeal, the chef will happily whip up something more to your liking. This option was offered to us even though none of us had any issues with what was on the menu. I have fond memories of Theo's, the restaurant that was in this location when I first moved to this area, and Home is a worthy successor. I am looking forward to dining here again.

Food was excellent, however service was less than stellar. I feel the staff there, while adequate, really missed an opportunity to showcase the food and wine they have. No one introduces themselves and we all came away with a feeling like wait staff would rather be somewhere else. I also told the hostess that I would like to buy a couple of $50 gift certificates before I left and no one followed up on this. Another missed opportunity. I know this is hard work, but just a little extra communication and follow through would have made it a much better and memorable experience. Not sure I will return for great food with at best mediocre service. A shame.

Wowie! Every course was excellent. Locally sourced, fresh with wonderfully creative combinations without being ostentatious. Curried grief chicken w fennel and snap peas. Cauliflower w pine nuts and chili. Chocolate mouse w fresh strawberries and mint. Heavenly!

Easy parking, friendly staff, relaxed ambience, delicious food, healthy food, vegetarian and vegan options. What more could you ask for? Definitely more upscale than the location lets on. This is a great place for a date.

Dinner last night was mediocre. The service at 8:30pm was definitely lacking for the list price of menu items. I have traveled all over Europe and visited many quaint bistros with eclectic menus, but this menu was difficult to read with limited entree options. My boyfriends $32 Strip Sirloin special was undercooked and cold in the middle. It was covered in fat at each end. The whey braised chicken in my truffle pasta felt like leftover odds & ends that were being salvaged to prevent waste in the kitchen, and consisted of several bones. The truffle cream sauce and noodles were the highlight of the dish. The menu and decor would have been better suited for my dog, a Water Spaniel who loves animal skulls and bone marrow. If you are looking for All-American cuisine, you may think of another place to go, unless you prefer beef cheek - one of their few entree featured dishes.
