Really like browsing through this store. It's never a quick visit, but it's fun to see all of the cool things they get in. Feels like I'm on a treasure hunt sometimes! Some things are a great deal, others are an enormous rip-off, so just pay attention to the price tags. ALWAYS double check everything you buy here, since they often get merchandise with defects or small cosmetic issues (that's how they can offer such low prices on most things). I really like that I can return to TJMaxx if I can't make it to HomeGoods. Great place to find unique toys. Overall a solid store.

Has lots of stuff. Same company and much the same inventory ( at least in the kitchen Dept) as TJMaxx at same prices. That said, if you know what you are seeking, you can get reasonable prices. Not steals,but reasonable bargains. Nordic Ware anniversary heavyweight Bundt pan for  just under $17. Had some nice cooking knives that I didn't buy when I first saw them. When I went back, they were gone, out of stock. That's the risk you take. Good prices on whole bean coffee. Sometimes better prices per pound than the whole bean coffee at S&M$ Club.  Lots of useless kitch there (imho), but I don't buy kitch, so I don't care. YMMV.

My name is Darlene Schoch from Pleasant Gap, Pa. and I shop at Home Goods often. For Christmas 2016 I bought 4 large area hugs for my daughter. The one was not a good fit for one of the children's rooms. She is a few hours away. When I finally got the rug from her to take back it had been a few months. I had the store receipt all along but could match the numbers with the rug so finally I took the rug to the store and explained my receipt and rug number did not match. That is when I ask Maggie Zimmerman a store associate for help. The numbers matched and she made the return for me and I got full payment on a store gift card. Need I say how thoughtful and helpful she was. Very professional and knowledgable in helping me. I thought I would have to keep a rug we could not use. Thank you so much Home Goods and associate Maggie Zimmerman.  Store 566 State College, Pa.
