We stopped in on our way to Portland. This is probably the coolest park we’ve ever been to! Cool area to climb, nice path and some perfect enclosed beach access! The quintessential PNW Park!

This park is great. Just stopped by for the day, needed a place to hang out in Hood River for a few hours. I would have loved to stay longer! People bring their dogs, their kids, their picnics. It's very nice!

This is a popular park for couples, families, windsurfing enthuseists, or joggers and dog walkers. The park provides public restrooms during the warmer months, but alas, they are closed in the off season. There is some playground type equipment for kids, including a small climbing wall and plenty of space for frisbees and the like. There are also some picnic tables scattered around, including one... maybe two, that are sheltered. The Free, public WiFi here is provided by Gorgenet, a local communications provider. If you visit long enough to get hungry, a variety of eateries and adult beverages are within easy walking distance.

This was such a beautiful place for a romantic stroll, especially when it's drizzling. There are coffee shops and small businesses at the sides of the park. The river is accessible from this waterfront.

Great place to put in for wind surfing/kite surfing. Playground with rock climbing wall for kids. Swimming beach. Dog friendly
