Buying a home in Florida from another state, you need a realtor you can trust.  I found the home I wanted and reached out to this agency for assistance. I got lies, inexperience and pride filled questioning of me.  I think there is a disconnect between the agents and broker here because I didn't have just one poor experience, I had two from two separate agents.  The end result from both transactions was losing the purchase. Had it not been for my tenacity and the seller personally reaching out to me, my home purchase would have been dead. After in depth conversation with the seller, I discovered misrepresentation and untruths from my agent to the sellers agent and to me.  I was scolded by my agent for reaching out to the sellers agent and questioned multiple times regarding my trust of an agent that hadn't earned or displayed any reason for me to trust her.  End result ... I cut ties with Horizon Palm and my agent and the seller and his agent have made this experience fantastic after cutting ties.  Just a side note, if you don't sign an agreement these agents don't have to work for your best interest and they will only look out for themselves, but you don't have to accept that and I didn't and separated myself from this realty group.  If the broker cared she would have called or intervened, but did nothing!!!  The seller and I saved the sale.  Just do your research ... this realty group nearly lost me two homes I wanted.  You have the right to talk to seller, sellers agent or anyone you'd like ... and you should because it's your money!!!

We just had the pleasure of buying our home from HPRG, specifically with Sherry Ortelli.

This was our fourth home purchased over the years and was by far our greatest experience, even in a tough buyers market, all thanks to Sherry.

The great thing about Sherry is there is no pressure from her, she understands that buying a home is such a personal decision, one of the biggest we will ever make, and she gives you the space to mull those decisions without making you feel like you are being rushed, pressured, or stressed.

Ask a question about the process and/or property and she has the answer because she puts in the work beforehand, and if for some reason she doesn't she will get the answer for you...and I mean she WILL get it, not just say she will and never get back to you!!!

To be honest there were times I was distraught that we weren't going to find a place in the Tampa Bay market as prices were rising and inventory was disappearing at a rapid pace, but Sherry never was. She knew the market was hot,,, she just kept saying when it's meant to be it will happen, and she just kept pounding away until we found a great place we now love and call home. 

From our initial meeting with Sherry, through the purchase offer and contract, all the way to the closing she had everything under control. Of course closing on a home can be complex, confusing, and stressful, but honestly, it felt like we were on cruise control and there were absolutely no issues. Communication from Sherry was always superb.

Though I think we are going to stay in our new home forever lol, I would use Sherry again in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor, save yourself alot of stress, and trust in confidence by hiring Sherry Ortelli and HPRG to represent your next real estate transaction. 

She is the epitome of the American dream...work hard, be honest, and treat people with dignity and respect.

We just purchased our home with the awesome help of Thomas Perrotta.  Thomas was our eyes, pointing out all concerns and details of the home, since we were in Michigan at the time.  He was very honest and we were happy when we finally saw the home in person.  Closing was fast and easy.  We look forward to doing business with him again!
