I really love this play. It’s definitely one of a kind and worth experiencing at least once. The gunfire is a little startling. It’s really nice to be outdoors in the mountains in the summer watching a play. It’s kind of a cozy with nature feeling.

The best thing I have ever taken my kids to. I highly recommend for children 7 and above. Warning there is live gunfire.

This is a very entertaining and educational outdoor theater drama about how Boone was settled. The show has been produced here for many decades and includes signing and dancing and is great entertainment for people of all ages. If you have a free night in Boone this is a GREAT experience. The show runs in the summer and is cancelled if it is raining. Make reservations prior to the show starting. Go an hour or two early and visit the Hickory Ridge Living History Museum right beside it. Have fun and be sure to leave them a review here!
