I did the Christmas themed train ride with my wife and 3 year old daughter. We got the First Class seats, coach doesn't have heat. The ride is the perfect length for a three year old, about 15 minutes one way, stopped to see Santa, 15 minutes back. The ride involved a story and Christmas songs. Daughter loved it.

Fantastic place to take the whole family. Saturdays are the best days to visit because that is the only day they run the steam engine.

If you like looking at weeds and trees this is the ride for you. Steam train is slow (I can walk as fast) and breathing for passengers is tough due to smoke and soot. Leaving the station, the view is trashy with junk railroad cars and equipment etc. all over. The museum is super cool and informative, one of the best I've ever seen. The employees are polite and very knowledgeable about the railroad and equipment. I think this would be a great ride in the fall when the leaves change, I would go back for that. The dinner and desert rides are with diesel locomotives, so expect a better ride.

I didn't go personally my mother did and she said they were stopped a lot and by the time they got hot chocolate she just wanted it to be over. Their carts aren't heated and it looks like it's pretty expensive for something not worth it. She did how ever say it would of been better during the day. I give it 3 because I'm nutrial about it. I probably won't try it personally but every person besides my mother said it was cool.

awesome dinner train! Fun ride, great veiws, the food and service was excellent! would love to go again!
