Tons of mosquitos. And it rained on us the whole time. Other than that, the facilities are in great condition. It's in a good remote area and right on the river for any of you that like to fish. There are plenty of waterfalls nearby that you can hike to also. Maybe don't visit this campground in June? I've never encountered mosquitos while camping in Oregon. This was a first for me.

We stayed in the group camp here and love it! It's an enclosed loop fairly separate from the rest of the campground loops. We had (FLUSHABLE!) bathrooms all to ourselves. It would be great for families as it has several small camp sites (with picnic tables and fire rings at each). We used it for a summer camp group, which worked well too! There is a larger campfire/picnic table area in the middle. The camp host in August 2016 while we were there was so friendly and helpful. She even taught the kids some cool stuff about living outdoors. There are places where it's possible to wade/play in the river at the campground, however it's also a launch for rafts with lots of spots with fast water/rapids. Be careful where you choose to play.

Great setting, has foot access to the river. Lots of shade. Zero cell service. Beware of the giant, but slow-moving mosquitoes in the summer. July Temps were 50s at night, 70s daytime.

Camped here in July with a church group. Had a good time. There are medium amount of mosquitoes. No showers. Rafting launch area.
