After being on the road for hours this place was a great surprise. Awesome place to sleep, shower, hike and just relax. Well kept with awesome people running it. The store next door is fully stocked and clean and the owners were very worm and inviting. This is hands down the best place to lay your head for miles around, you wont be dis-appointed. I will totally be going back. (Don't forget to bring your mosquito repellent)

This is a lovely cabin and RV site just North of Crater Lake and right beside the North Umpqua River. We loved staying here. It was clean and comfortable and had a pleasant feeling of being in the middle of nowhere! There is a lovely swimming hole within metres of the site - but take insect spray as there are mossies the size of small elephants down there. The bathroom facilities were remarkably clean for a camping place. The staff were friendly and so were other guests! Would highly recommend.

This place is great! Bathrooms are very clean and had hot water. The grounds are well kept. Water and electricity at our tent site was a nice feature that was not available at most state parks we stayed at. The owners of this privately owned campground were very nice and extremely helpful, especially Mary. They even gave us directions to an amazing swimming spot nearby. Can't wait to return. Definately staying in a cabin next time though.

My husband and I came to attend the CampOut! experience over Memorial Day weekend. We enjoyed meeting so many friendly people. We loved the tie dye experience and now have our "hippie" shirts to jazz up our wardrobe. From the potluck, to the river rafting, to the waterfall hiking to the stargazing from the magic mountain meadow, both of us came away refreshed and energized. The resort itself is not big in size, though big enough to have a variety of campsites and hook ups, but it is big in spirit. The diverse and welcoming staff along with their gorgeous manager and dapper owner made the experience all that much more powerful. One can only respect the level of work and commitment it takes to have fun while seeing to the needs of over 100 campers. I appreciated the inclusion of all identities, spectrums and experiences which only served to imbue the weekend with a feeling of cultural aspiration. It was specifically important this past weekend due to the murders by supremacists in Portland. This enclave was safe and supportive. There was diversity represented by race, gender identity, religion, sexual orientation, immigration status, age, sex, relationship status, mobility, and class. This is rare in bigger cities and totally unexpected in a small chunk of land 45 miles east of Roseburg. The bathrooms were clean and functional, and the Dry Creek store next to the campgroup made it easy to get ice, snacks, and last minute grilling needs. 2 suggestions for improvement would be to have more picnic tables available so that there can be group events on the hill that don't need to be in competition with the needs of individual sites. Secondly, since it can be very hot, more shade trees in open areas and sites would improve the aesthetics of the resort and provide relief for the visitors.

I have visited Umpqua's Last Resort several times in the last few years and have always had a positive experience. Whether bringing all my camping gear, or renting a cabin while I explore Crater Lake this place has a lot to offer. Showers, flushing toilets, air conditioned cabins, clean bathrooms, and very friendly staff. I've been pointed in the direction of lots of cool stuff to see in this area by people here. They really go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay.
