The Hotel Plaza is a very descent place to stay, but definitely has a look and feel that it's past it's prime. The amenities are up to standard,  but there are a few things lacking, such as a good and reliable WiFi connection. You can get some internet connection, but it's either really over saturated or just not that good. For the price and what it has to offer, it's one of the best values in Nogales.

We have no problem staying at "old" hotels, but we will never stay here before, we booked it for two nights, ended up canceling the 2nd one because the hotel is so dirty, and in bad shape. There were mosquitos flying in the room, , and my husband killed a roach next to the bed.It was disgusting.

I love the buffet they offer, great staff and delicious food,  I 100% recommend it!

Please consider going to city express or a different hotel for the same price amd better quality. Unfortunately this was our second stay there and were hoping that ATLEAST the Wi-Fi situation was fixed. The beds in the presidential were rock hard! I had better beds at Hotel San Carlos with actual working Wi-Fi and cable t.v. for 1/4 of the price. Also some of the light switches didn't work if anything there free breakfast buffet which came included was descent. If you want to struggle with Wi-Fi, Rock hard beds, and Old rooms then this is the hotel for you.
