Wonderful place.  As someone who has been a part of the team for 11 years.  That speaks volumes.  Members, home owners, and employees alike are all welcomed and treated as family.  Not another place like it!

Ah yes, the rentors and employees comments really dont hold much weight.  Lets see the homeowners and or dues paying members post comments since those are the one's 'paying the dues' and by dues I dont mean homeowner dues or club dues; I mean 'skin in the game'.  Not the best place but you will have to figure that on your own.  All I can say is in the history of equity club refunds we broke the record to actually be repatriated with our equity stake in full plus a profit.  We studied the bylaws when we were on the waiting to resign list and realized that whatever our position was on that list it was actually double since the club could (double deal) sell one abandoned membership at a rate of 2 club membership vs 1 waiting to resign.  The only way out of that mess was expulsion and we succeeded to get ourselves expelled (old bylaws; I am sure they savvied up and changed refunds for expulsion) but it was a matter of economics to be repatriated 80% of the then current rate of $60,000 for a membership we paid $42,000 for and refunded $48,000.  A feat in the history of club equity refund.  Maybe under new management they can salvage some of the old era when our benevolent Uncle Ed owned it.

It's deer to my heart. It's one of the first resorts to  come to the mtns. The people who live there as well as those that work there are like family to me. I love them all.

Visited for a round of golf. The course is in immaculate condition. Groundskeepers are very courteous. All staff members are extremely helpful.
