Today confirmed that our Howard County Fire and Rescue and our Howard County Policemen are professionals who put public safety above their own personal desires. As I was working in my home office on Saturday, 18 Feb 2017, I heard a loud crash. I turned and looked out the window to see a car crash over the guard rail on the Meadow Ridge on ramp to Route 100 East. The young drive stumbled out and collapsed while his passenger was inside.  Howard County Fire and Rescue arrived within 10 minutes and took care of both people. The level of care that all 12 rescue and policemen provided to the patients was impressive.  We owe the Howard County Fire and Rescue Team and the Howard County Police Department a debt of gratitude for putting service before self.  I provided a picture of the car, as it was being removed from the guard rail.
