DO NOT USE KENT WHITLEY FOR ANYTHING... He is the most useless person in the world and is terrible at communication, he lies, and will tell buyers to walk away from a sale when they call him out on not doing his job. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

They forgot to collect my down payment check and then recorded the deed. Afterward they were understandably hounding me for days to get the check. Which I had to drive to the downtown office. Their function is to escrow the transaction and record title afterward, not before. They recorded before ever collecting the funds. These are the basics for a title agency, but they can't seem to accomplish them. If I'm looking for a accurate transaction, then I'm looking elsewhere. You probably should too. Just make sure if you buy a HH home, you specify not to use their in house title agency Barrister's Title. You never know what could happen.
