I would not recommend Dr. Howton to anyone....EVER. I spent thousands $$$$ and I only got worse under his care. He did not properly interpret my test results. And did not investigate my illness thoroughly. I received no useful diagnosis....he only suggested supplements for my many symptoms. He recommended supplements with ingredients I was allergic to. The drugs/hormones he had me take worsened my symptoms. I received IV treatments in his office which created new symptoms for me!!! He blamed all of my symptoms on stress. I wasn't under any stress. I got sicker because of him. He failed to diagnose 3 very serious chronic conditions I had....3!!! (I finally got diagnosed and I'm currently receiving treatment from a competent doctor). So much money wasted and so many years lost to chronic illness because of Dr. Howton's lack of expertise. He should have his license to practice medicine revoked.

After many months of stomach upset, my primary care doctor wanted me to have numerous medical tests and start daily prescription medicine. I decided to try a different route before submitting myself to her recommendations and went to visit Dr. Howton. The first visit was very thorough, and after a full set of blood and urine tests, Dr. Howton wrote out a plan. I eliminated certain foods and added in specific supplements based on the results of my blood tests. Within a week, I started to feel better. It has now been 6 months and I no longer have the daily stomach pain I endured for so long. This type of treatment may not be for everyone and certainly isn't for every illness, but it changed my life.

He is the best dr in Colorado. He wants you to get well! Most dr's want you to stay sick and make money from your being sick. He is state of the art up to date and really is a great dr!
