Such a disaster to bank with HSBC. The customer service is impossible!!! Every time that I call they put on hold for more than 15 minutes. I asked them to send me a new credit card four times already and I didn't receive one yet. The bankers don't give any diligent attention. Disgusting!!! Never ever again.

You should just stay away from HSBC in general if you have personal bank account. Their focus is on business accounts and not personal banking anymore. That is one of the reasons most of the branch offices don't open on Saturday.  Not just this branch office, HSBC is just not a US oriented bank. I would stay away.

I have been to quite a few HSBC branches in the world, including US. This one is so far the worst. I have been there several times and got treated like pauper, outsider, cheater,anything but a normal customer. The month of the employee had NO smiles on her face on my last visit. I am still wondering who voted her??!! Other staff are no better. I am a premium customer of HSBC for a long time. Since I moved to Great Neck area and this one is close to home, I began to go there. They never treated me right. Even when I asked information about brokerage account, the representative said he was busy and will call me. Half year later, I still haven't got his phone call. Now I am happy to see that Citibank just opened a branch within the same shopping center, I wil take a look at the new Citibank branch soon. I would expect nothing would be worse than the treatment by this HSBC branch.
